Intermountain DC IPP-Adelanto (STS) Upgrade Schedule:
Pole 1 Outage - October 9, 2010 thru November 2, 2010
Pole 2 Outage - November 3, 2010 thru November 23, 2010
Bipole Outage - November 24, 2010 thru November 28, 2010
Trial Operation for three weeks starting on November 29, 2010

During the last 4-days of the Pole 1 outage duration, both poles will be unavailable for scheduled power due to testing. Similarly, during the last 3-days of the Pole 2 outage duration, both poles will be unavailable for scheduled power due to testing.

June 3, 2009

On June 2, 2009, the rating on the Mead-Perkins-Westwing 500kV Transmission Line was increased from 1300 MW to 1923 MW in both directions due to series capacitor upgrades and the permanent bypass of the Perkins phase shifters. All participants have increased their TTC in OASIS to reflect the rating change. LADWP TTC has increased from 74MW to 110MW.

May 29, 2009

Effective June 2, 2009, the rating on the Navajo-Crystal-McCullough 500kV Transmission Line will be increased from 8055 MW to 9300 MW in both directions. LADWP share will increase from 695 MW to 978 MW for Navajo-Crystal segment. ATC postings will reflect this change by the afternoon of June 1, 2009.

May 27, 2009

Effective June 2, 2009, the rating on the Mead-Perkins-Westwing 500kV Transmission Line will be increased from 1300 MW to 1923 MW in both directions. LADWP share will increase from 74 MW to 110 MW. ATC postings will reflect this change by the afternoon of June 1, 2009.

Effective on 5/12 for flows on 5/13/09, customers who use the Sylmar-PV path need to follow the new CISO tagging requirements. Please review the tag templates dated 5-12-09. Refresh webpage maybe needed to show the lastest file.

Effective on 3/31 for flows on 4/1/09, customers who use the Sylmar-PV path need to follow the new CISO tagging requirements. Please review the tag templates or call the LDWP preschedulers at 818-771-6730 after purchasing PV transmission.

The implementation of the following has been delayed until further notice to allow customers time to make the change: All Hourly services (Firm, Non-firm, Secondary) will now be sold only after 11:00 AM the day before. Customers who want to buy for prescheduling days can use the daily products.

The DWP Generic scheduling account codes POR/POD list has been posted under Business Practices. If a path is available on webOASIS, but there is no corresponding generic scheduling code from this list, DWP may not be able to schedule your OASIS transaction, even after the reservation is confirmed. Please call to request a scheduling account code prior to making your reservation.

In response to a customer request, we are allowing secondary redirect on firm weekly services until 12/1/2008. Hourly secondary redirect continues to be available for yearly and monthly reservations. After 12/1/08, we will evaluate the impacts to our work load. Due to limitations on our legacy scheduling system, non-firm accounts must be set up in advance for the redirected paths.

A LDWP scheduling code is required to schedule the transmission. If you had not scheduled on a path before, please call (818) 771-6730 to make sure we have a LDWP scheduling code prior to putting in a TSR reservation request. Otherwise, the TSR may need to be annulled even after it's been approved.

LADWP is in the process of revising its Open-Access Transmission Tariff (OATT). This includes, but not limited to, business practices, loss provisions and loss indexes, transmission tariff rates, and other ancillary services rate schedules. After the new OATT is approved by DWP management, DWP Board, and City Council, the rates, terms and conditions will apply to future transmission and existing transmission reservations that are in effect, including reservations made prior to the approval of the new OATT. Transmission service agreements executed under the October 2001 OATT (http://www.oatioasis.com/LDWP/LDWPdocs/OATT_October_2001_REV_2.doc) will be automatically transferred to the new OATT. The anticipated effective date for the new OATT is 6/1/2007 or later.

The rating of the Mead to Marketplace 500kV Transmission Line will be increased from 1852 MW to 2600 MW beginning February 1, 2007. Please check our OASIS on January 18, 2007 to view the DWP share of the TTC increase on the line.
