Temporary Reduction in PV East TTC with All Lines In Service (ALIS)
The preparation for the new Kyrene 500/230 Bank #8 transformer involves extensive Kyrene 500 kV and 230 kV switchyard configuration changes. This work will occur in stages over the next 6 months and require outages with varying IOS conditions during each phase. There will be several weeks during the schedule with ALIS but with a temporary system configuration that results in a reduction to PV East TTC through April 30, 2012. This will reduce TTC on any paths that include any of the following segments: PALOVERDE500-WESTWING500, PALOVERDE500-KYRENE500, PALOVERDE500-RUDD500, and PALOVERDE500-PINALWEST500.
The PV East ALIS TTC will be 7713 MW effective immediately through April 30, 2012. There will be TTC limits associated with various outage conditions during this time that will prevail during scheduled outages. 7713 MW is only applicable with All Lines In Service.
