Welcome to the Sierra Pacific Power Company OASIS site. This site is used by the Company to post public information in compliance with FERC Order 2004 - Standards of Conduct for Transmission Providers and other information of interest to our customers. **Sign up for e-mail notification of updates for Outages, BP’s, etc. by having your Company Admin do the ENotice Setup from the Company tab. Current Events

  • 05/27/09 New and Revised Business Practices Posted for Comment! The following Business Practices are new or have been revised: Intra-Hour Transmission Service Request, Within-Hour Transactions, Processing of Late Transmission Service Requests, and Transmission Loss Scheduling. The documents can be found within the Business Practice folder located on the left . Please send comments to Erik Hansen (ehansen@nvenergy.com) and Marilyn Franz (mfranz@nvenergy.com)
  • Path 52 TTC Rating Change NV Energy. As of 04/16/09, Sierra Pacific Power Co. d/b/a NV Energy has a new rating on its Silver Peak to Bishop tie line. Starting immediately, TTC rating will be 13 MW import and 17 MW export, as opposed to the original 17 MW both ways due to phase shifter capabilities. Please find the attached document under the Transmission Information folder.
  • Summit TTC Rating Change NV Energy. As of 12/30/08, Sierra Pacific Power Co. d/b/a NV Energy has a new rating on its Summit tie line. Starting Dec 30th, 2008, TTC rating will be 55 MW export for HE18 thru 22, as opposed to the original 70 MW due to phase shifter constraints. This will continue each day through the month of February.
  • Nevada Power and Sierra Pacific Power Renamed NV Energy - Effective September 22nd, 2008, Nevada Power and Sierra Pacific Power will do business under the name (d/b/a) NV Energy. Click here for the news release.
  • 09/05/08 Updated! Intra-Hour Transmission Service Request Business Practice. Please find the SPR Companies’ (NEVP and SPPC) “Intra-Hour Transmission Service Request Business Practice” within the Business Practice folder where Documents are located (to the left).   • September 4th, 2008 SIERRA Subregional Planning Group (SSPG) FIRST Stakeholder Meeting. – First Stakeholder meeting of the new Sierra Subregional Planning Group (SSPG) is to be held in Sacramento on September 4. Details are listed under the Public Meetings folder and SIERRA Subregional Planning Group meeting subfolder on the left side of the home page.
  • 07/16/08 New! Long Term Firm PTP OASIS Request Business Practice.   • Operating and Scheduling Protocols Business Practice Document Updated - The Operating and Scheduling Protocols Document under the Business Practices folder has been updated to incorporate the latest e-Tag WECC requirements.   • SPR Operating Companies are filing to increase the Point-to-Point, Network Service, and Schedule 1 (Scheduling System Control and Dispatch Service) rates for Zone A (SPPC). - Links to the filings can be found under the under the Open Access Transmission Tariff folder and OATT Filing ER07-1371-000 Parts 1-2A.
  • Attachment K Draft Posted - On September 14, 2007, Attachment K Draft was posted under the Order 890 Postings folder, Planning Attachment K Draft subfolder.
