Posting Firm and Non-Firm Maximum Limits on OASIS
Effective immediately, firm and
non-firm maximum limits for the following transmission segments will be posted
on OASIS:
|
MH.230 to SPC |
SPC to MH.230 |
|
WAUE to SPC |
SPC to WAUE |
|
AB.SK.MC to SPC |
SPC to AB.SK.MC |
Maximum limits will not be posted
for flow throughs (e.g. MH.230 AB.SK.MC; between two external interconnection
points). In order to calculate the
maximum limit for a flow through, use the lowest limit for the two segments
(e.g. MH.230 AB.SK.MC, use the lowest limit for either MH.230 SPC or SPC
AB.SK.MC).
Updates for maximum limits
will be posted to OASIS every two (2) hours on the even hour (e.g. 2 a.m. CST,
4 a.m. CST, etc.)
Maximum limits are calculated
using the following formulas:
TTC = Total Transfer
Capability
TRM = Transmission
Reliability Margin
TRMCoef = Percentage of the
reliability margin that is not released to the non-firm market
Firm maximum limit = TTC
TRM
Non firm maximum limit = TTC
- (TRM * TRMCoef)
Maximum limits can be found
on the SaskPower OASIS site under the ATC menu.
