9/10/2007:       FERC Order 890 Compliance

Due to the substantial changes to the Pro-Forma OATT made by Order 890, Western Area Power Administration will need to engage in a public process with its customers and the general public prior to making an Order 890 filing.  Western will make a future filing to address the changes necessary as a result of Order 890.  However, in the interim Western will continue to work with the industry and complying with the spirit and intent of Order 890 when feasible.

The revised Tariff, a summary of changes made to its existing Tariff, and information about the tariff revision process is posted on Western’s Web site at http://www.wapa.gov/oatt.htm.
