Offers to Relieve Congestion

Duke Energy Florida (DEF) will allow the posting on OASIS of any third party offer to relieve a congested transmission facility. The procedure for third parties to post offers to relieve congestion on DEF’s system is as follows:

1. Log onto the DEF OASIS and choose the “Notices” function

2. Within the Notices menu choose the “Message” function

3. Select the “Add New” function

4. Select the message category “Other” from the pull down menu

5. Enter the offer information in the message field

6. Set the other screen parameters as desired

7. Press the “Submit” button to post the message.
