Every user of the Entergy OASIS node must access the system using a digital X509 certificate obtained from either IdenTrust or Open Access Technology Inc. (OATI). This certificate serves as the user's "log-on" to the system. The certificate will allow the user to access many of the OASIS Nodes. Each individual user of the system should have his/her own certificate.
Please use the following links to get an X.509 certificate

To obtain an IdenTrust certificate, users must fill out an "on-line" registration form. Information about registration and the registration form are available at http://www.digsigtrust.com/projects/energy/index.html. Further directions on downloading and installing the necessary security software are also available at this registration address.

IdenTrust and OATI charge a nominal fee for these certificates.
Once users obtain an IdenTrust or OATI certificate, they will have view
only privileges on Entergy OASIS. In order for a user to obtain
privileges as an Entergy customer, he/she will have to register on the Entergy
OASIS at the following link: CUSTOMER REGISTRATION and send an email to OASISSupport@entergy.com.
Each transmission customer company may designate one or more individuals to serve as their Company Security Officer(s) (CSO) for Entergy OASIS. The CSO will have the capability to approve registration of users of his/her company on the Entergy OASIS. The CSO needs to register as a security officer by following procedures included on Security Officer Registration page. If there are any questions you can contact Don Martin at 501-614-3309 or by email at dmartin@spp.org.
In order for a transmission customer to make short-term point-to-point
transmission service requests to a specific transmission provider, the customer
must either have or enter into a service agreement under the transmission
provider's tariff for either non-firm point-to-point or short-term firm
point-to-point transmission service as appropriate. Please contact Don Martin
at 501-614-3309 for entering into a service agreement with Entergy.
Once a service agreement is established, the customer must register their users
on Entergy OASIS by following the above procedures. Please contact Don
Martin by phone at 501-614-3309 or by email dmartin@spp.org to obtain Transmission
Customer privileges. The transmission provider will then take the
appropriate steps necessary to make sure that the user/customer's certificate is
assigned the necessary permissions in order to make transmission service
requests of that transmission provider.
