As of November 1, 2006, all new Generator Interconnection requests shall be submitted to the Independent Entity.

 

Customers submitting Generation Interconnections should review the information on this site and in Attachment J and Attachment M of the Duke Energy Carolinas Open acess Transmission Tariff before submitting a request.  All new Generator Interconnection requests should be sent to the Independent Entity (Midwest ISO).  The request will be processed by the Independent Entity, however the study work (power flow/stability/other) will be performed by Duke Energy Carolinas under the direction of the Independent Entity.

Duke Energy Carolinas Generation Interconnection Queue:

 

 

Duke Energy Carolinas has only one (1) Generation Queue but to accurately reflect the Independent Entity's management of Duke Energy Carolinas Queue after November 1, 2006, there are two (2) separate databases, the Duke Energy Carolinas Generator Interconnection Queue (before 11/01/06) and the Duke Energy Carolinas IE Generator Interconnection Queue (after 11/01/06)The request will be processed by the Independent Entity, however the study work (power flow/stability/other) will be performed by Duke Energy Carolinas under the direction of the Independent Entity.
