• Long and Short-Term transmission services processing including System Impact Studies and the study queue

The Independent Entity (Midwest ISO) performs the Transmission Provider (TP) Review/Approvals on tags. Duke Energy Carolinas still performs the Control Area (CA) Review/Approvals on tags.

Generator Interconnection:

Customers needing information on interconnecting to Duke Energy Carolinas' transmission system should review Attachtment J (LGIP) of the Duke Energy Carolinas' Open Access Transmission Tariff, Attachtment M (SGIP) of the Duke Energy Carolinas' Open Access Transmission Tariff, and the Generator Interconnection Information Page on OASIS.

• All new Generator Interconnection requests should be sent to the Independent Entity (Midwest ISO).  The request will be processed by the Independent Entity, however the study work (power flow/stability/other) will be performed by Duke Energy Carolinas under the direction of the Independent Entity.  Generation Interconnection requests should be sent to:
