Please be advised effective 12:00 AM, Sunday January 1, 2006 AECI will no longer offer its transmission customers the option to purchase losses associated with transmission service from AECI. Please refer to Schedule 5 of AECI’s OATT:
"SCHEDULE 5
Losses
Real Power Losses are associated with all transmission service. AECI is not obligated to provide Real Power Losses. The Transmission Customer is responsible for replacing losses associated with all transmission service as calculated by AECI. The applicable Real Power Loss factor is 0.059, or 5.9% of the energy scheduled across AECI. The losses for a particular transaction would need to be reserved (rounded to the nearest whole MW per hour) in addition to the transmission capacity desired.”
Customers will be required to self-supply losses incurred from energy scheduled across AECI’s system. If you have any question or concerns please feel free to contact the Transmission Services Coordinator at 417-885-9236 or transmissionsvccoord@aeci.org***
